TONY SONA
Arabesque Jazz recording artist Tony Sona was hailed by Len Pace of NPR’s “Evenin’ Jazz” Program as so prolific a composer that the creation of “The Tony Sona Songbook” was merited. Reveling in performance via his favorite combo, the classic jazz trio comprised of piano, bass and drums, this Juilliard trained composer / pianist offers his listeners many moods and a broad range of rhythms by including swing, standards, Latin, blues, ballads, arrangements of contemporary songs and originals in every performance.
Tony has performed throughout the U.S. and abroad in a variety of venues theatres, jazz clubs, concert halls, casinos, festivals, and corporate / social events. Tony began performing professionally at age 12, and at age 16 was awarded a Lila Wallace Scholarship to The Juilliard School. As a bandleader, studio musician, music educator, music entrepreneur and owner of TG Productions, Inc., Tony’s client roster includes a veritable who’s who of Fortune 500 companies and dignitaries such as the Clinton’s, Colin Powell and Bill Gates.
